ABOUT LANGUAGES AND WHATS INCLUDED
__________________________________________________

PLEASE NOTE
Language packs are build using 12 seperate processing steps. Data is cleaned, stripped, striped and refined before being send out to you. For now theres text, tables, math, categories, but no templates.

All database downloads and updates are free during this introduction period. Downloads require a wifi connection and vary between 7GB (english), 2.5GB (german) or less for all other languages.

Sounds a lot? It is! The english Wikipedia Language pack alone holds about 4 million articles, 4 million redirects and lots of places. Its also compressed from more than 45Gb down to 7GB. So you can take it wherever you want.

Latest reviews of Prizma - Wikipedia Offline app for iPhone and iPad

Could be better
Searching articles is very fast, and the app works better than any other offline wiki reader. However, IMO the three column view makes reading articles very difficult. this could be perfect with a full screen reading experience option. Another issue is while reading you accidentally hit one of the other two columns and lose your place, another reason for a full screen view. All this needs is a real nav bar for a proper bookmarks page, search page, and then a button for whatever you are reading and it would be 1000% better.
Avoid like the plague
I dropped $10 on this because Im going to be spending 5 weeks in a country with unreliable internet. The 7GB contents is being downloaded at 20KB/s...Im on a fast cable connection at 30mbps down. So the app developers server is so slow that it would take 4 days to download. In other words, 4 days of me not using my phone, with the app open, plugged in and charging while the app contents download. This is inexcusable--a 7GB movie on iTunes should take a few hours tops to download. This app shouldnt take days and days and days to be functional.
